Which are the cheapest countries to go on holidays?

If you do not know where to go on holiday this summer and you do not want to spend too much money, be aware that there are quite affordable destinations. In France, in Europe or much further, it is possible to limit expenses by choosing well.

We used the Alibabuy comparator and the cost of living indicators to suggest the cheapest countries to go on a trip.

In Europe: Hungary and Bulgaria

To choose the cheapest possible destination, consider the cost of travel, accommodation and life on site. With these criteria, Hungary is very interesting. Life is about 45% cheaper than in France which allows taking full advantage of Budapest, one of the most beautiful European capitals. In terms of nature, you can also head for Lake Balaton, the largest in central Europe.

Bulgaria can enjoy beautiful beaches along the Black Sea or visit Sofia with 25 euros per person per day. It is even cheaper further east as in Nessebar, a beautiful city listed as World Heritage by Unesco.

In Latin America: Honduras

Head to Honduras to enjoy white sand beaches, great diving spots and a landscape as idyllic as the Caribbean but for a much lower price.

It takes a little more than 800 euros for a round trip from France and a cost of living 51% cheaper than at home.

For Asia, the most expensive is the trip

India has a very low cost of living and we can really enjoy ourselves with 20 euros per day and per person. The change of scenery is guaranteed, the visits to temples and exceptional palaces. For a total change, head for Jaipur, the pink city capital of Rajasthan. For relaxation, Kerala, South, is perfect with dream beaches.

Cambodia is just as affordable with a round trip for 751 euros. And if you choose this destination, you must spend a few days at the Angkor temple.

In Vietnam, it only takes 20 to 25 euros a day to enjoy a French atmosphere in Hanoi. The croissants are sold next to the pho, a noodle soup of rice, herbs and beef.
In Dalat, a climatic health resort perched on the high plateaus, we admire the flower fields, we discover tofu plants or those of cashew nuts. All for about 47 euros per night in a 3-star hotel and a return flight of 770 euros.

In France, favor staggered holidays

Biscarosse, in New Aquitaine, allows you to spend holidays cheaply, especially if you leave in September. But, you can also enjoy a cheaper stay by visiting Ile Rousse or Bastia at the same time.

In summer, you can also head to the Bay of Somme or the Opal Coast, two destinations ideal for family holidays.
